An MVP, or Minimum Viable Product, is the first functional version of a digital product built with only the most essential features. Its purpose is to solve a specific problem for early users, test whether the idea has real demand, and collect feedback before investing in a full-scale platform.
A prototype is usually a visual or interactive representation used to demonstrate an idea, user journey, or design direction. It may not contain real functionality.
A proof of concept, often called a PoC, is built to test whether a complex technical idea can work. An MVP is a usable product with core functionality that can be released to real users for market validation. In simple terms: a prototype tests the experience, a PoC tests technical feasibility, and an MVP tests whether users find enough value in the solution to use it.
We begin with the problem you want to solve, the target users, and the core value your product must deliver. We then identify features that are essential for the first release and separate them from features that can be added later.
The development timeline depends on the product scope, platform choice, user roles, design requirements, integrations, and technical complexity. A focused MVP with a limited number of core workflows can be launched much faster than a complete enterprise platform.
MVP development cost is based on the features required for the first release, the number of web or mobile platforms, user roles, integrations, UI/UX scope, data requirements, security needs, and hosting setup.
Ownership of source code, designs, databases, documentation, and other deliverables should be clearly defined in the project agreement. Once agreed milestones and payment terms are completed, clients receive the deliverables specified in the contract.
An MVP should be focused, but it should not block future growth. We choose an appropriate architecture and technology stack based on the product’s expected direction, user growth, data volume, integrations, and future feature plans.
After launch, the main goal is to learn from real usage. We can help you track user behaviour, collect feedback, identify usability issues, review important performance metrics, and prioritize the next development phase.
